Friday 15th November to Sunday 17th November

This is a non-residential 3 day Retreat where many, but not all attendees are therapists, psychologists or similar.

Those of you who have not completed an IFS introductory workshop will be offered a space in a workshop prior to the retreat, included in the retreat price. Please see the introduction to IFS link for training dates and times.

The 3 days will be held in nature, on a floating venue at Brockholes, set in 250 acres of nature reserve in Lancashire. Therapy NorthWest is committed to only using facilities that are green and sustainable and this space has won awards for its emphasis on sustainability and environmental performance. The building floats on a lake surrounded by beautiful countryside and wildlife, perfect for our purposes. The energy in this space is calming, nourishing and we will be making full use of the surrounding grounds to facilitate our connecting and healing intentions.

The experience will be held within the Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) model and blended with body practices informed by Polyvagal Theory to release Self energy, inner and outer resourcing for your personal healing and growth. Somatic work to heal trauma held within the body, sound healing and spiritual yoga practices will be offered alongside IFS in action within a connected and safe group space.

This retreat will be led by Zandra Bamford, a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Approved IFS Consultant & Certified IFS Therapist with over 20 years experience working with trauma within a deeply compassionate and holistic approach. We will also be joined by Maria Kaltsi, a certified IFS Clinical Psychologist as well as Dr Elham Kashefi for a sensational sound healing session, Jenny Ward, Yoga Therapist and Scott Lowe, Yoga and Breathwork teacher. This promises to be a full mind, body, spirit experience.
